Lucy Ashe is the author of CLARA & OLIVIA (shortlisted for the CWA Historical Dagger 2024) and THE SLEEPING BEAUTIES. Her latest novel, THE MODEL PATIENT, will be published in April 2026. She trained at the Royal Ballet School, before changing career plans and going to St Hugh's College, Oxford University, to study English Literature. She is an English and Drama teacher and currently lives in Brooklyn.
Lucy will be in conversation with psychotherapist Jennifer Cox. Jennifer Cox is the new go-to voice on global mental health and feminism. Her book, Women Are Angry, won The Times and Sunday Times Best Self-Help Book of the Year, and she co-hosts the hit podcast Women Are Mad. International Women’s Day 2027 will see the release of Jennifer’s next book.
Both books explore female rage from two perspectives - therapist and novelist - and it should make for a great conversation!
